The Utah Jazz look to get their ninth home win in 10 games tonight as the Sacramento Kings (5-20 on the road) come to Salt Lake City in what is expected to be a fairly easy victory for Utah.
AccuScore simulations have the Jazz as heavy favorites with a 73.7 percent chance at the win. The average score after 10,000 simulations is 102.6-95.4, but the Jazz have just a 46.5 percent chance of covering the -8 spread. Utah is 1-7 against the spread in its last 8 games when playing at home against Sacramento There’s a 50.5 percent chance the total score stays under 198.5. The total has gone under in 5 of Utah’s last 7 games when playing Sacramento. The safest bet to take tonight would be Utah on the money line; there’s a good chance Sacramento keeps it within 8 points, and the over/under odds are too even.

Sacramento was dominated by the New York Knicks 120-81 on Saturday to fall to 1-4 on their current road trip. It was the third time the Kings lost by 18 or more points in the past five games. Utah, 17-5 at home, is beginning a three-game home-stand after losing at Portland on Saturday.
Four of the last six games between Sacramento and Utah have been decided by three or fewer points. The teams split a back-to-back in November with the home team winning each time.
With Sacramento being at the tail-end of a long cross-country road-trip, the Jazz need to start strong from the tip-off and take any hope the Kings have by the end of the first quarter. Utah is dealing with a whole bunch of injuries, and while Gordon Hayward has been rumored to be out tonight, he was included in AccuScore’s simulations. The lack of depth is an issue, but not so much at home and against a team of Sacramento’s caliber. After a loss this season, Utah is 7-3 while Sacramento is 3-7.
Game Prediction – The Kings are No. 30 in the NBA in points allowed, giving up 103.2 PPG. I’ll take Utah by 7.

Jazz win 125-80 because karma sucks.
I hope the Jazz will finally be able to blow a game wide open against these Kings. They've often been close games over the past couple of seasons, and they have to be able to pull away sooner or later. I like the Jazz 107-95
