ReCAPTION: Weighing Ty’s Options And Big Baby’s Belly Edition

Greetings, and welcome to the third installment of ReCAPTION!  Since our last journey down “what were they thinking” alley, much has transpired.  Our Jazz dropped 3 straight contests to the Thunder, Rockets and Clippers, respectively, before bouncing back at home against the Superman-less Orlando Magic.

Pro team aside, Utah basketball lost  a coaching legend this week in Rick Majerus.  We’re venturing outside of our Jazz-caption monopoly for a quick tribute to recognize an iconic coach who, love him or hate him, left his mark on basketball in Utah.  RIP, Coach Majerus – this caption’s for you.

But first – our winner from week two.  The one and only Clint Peterson, who interpreted Paul’s photo as him honing his dance skills in the waning seconds of a Kings’ defeat:

Next time, Clint, let’s get you some REAL competition…Don’t be afraid, y’all – PARTICIPATE!

Paul Millsap is a huge Reddit fan, probably, after reenacting this recently-gone-viral canine photobomb from the popular site.

And finally – one final caption this week for Rick Majerus.  Symbolically pouring one out for the homie.

We have a special treat for you all this week to try your own hand at creating a winning caption.  A man who has been the brunt of many a joke has served yet one more up on a silver platter for Jazz-land to feast upon.  The one…the only…Glen “Big Baby” Davis.

Jake Jeppsen, father of two and husband of one, grew up surrounded by a basketball-loving family. His earliest basketball memories include a Julius Erving jigsaw puzzle, Junior Jazz basketball Saturday's, and once getting Blue Edwards's autograph. By day, his nine-to-five enables him to purchase NBA League Pass. By night, he turns into "Guy Who Watches Lots Of Basketball...Guy". He's even written a recap or two for various Utah Jazz blogs over the years. A real superhero of sorts.
